As Phase 1 of Brookshire built in 1970, the north end of Brookshire Parkway holds the oldest homes in the neighborhood, with large ranch and two story styles on wooded lots where mature tree cover means shaded, damp panel laps and debris buildup along trim and flashing. Original siding on many of these homes is well past its expected service life, and decades of central Indiana storm and hail exposure often show up as faded, chalky, warped, or cracked panels.
